La Femme au Train/ The Woman on the Train

Ce tableau me fait penser à deux choses. Tout d'abord l'étrange musicalité due au rythme ferroviaire, qui induit, souvent, quand en plus, on regarde le paysage, une vraie "planante", que les autres modes de transport ne peuvent apporter. Ensuite, le souvenir très personnel, d'une femme rencontrée dans le train qui m'emmenait à l'enterrement de mon père en 1999. Un tableau prémonitoire?

This table reminds me of two things. First of all the strange musicality due to the railway rhythm, which often induces, when in addition, one looks at the landscape, a real "planing", that other modes of transport cannot provide.
