Pour moi, la période des années 70, celle qui correspond à mon enfance, est la meilleure picturalement parlant: Simplicité de la composition & couleurs éclatantes pour des tableaux dépouillés, mais terriblement sensibles. Aucune objectivité, dans mon choix esthétique, cela est certainement dû, aux souvenirs d'une enfance heureuse, idéalisée par le souvenir, bien avant que l'adolescence ne revienne mettre en cause, radicalement, cette vision idyllique.
For me, the period of the 70s, that which corresponds to my childhood, is the best pictorially speaking: Simplicity of the composition & vibrant colors for stripped down paintings, but terribly sensitive. No objectivity, in my aesthetic choice, this is certainly due to the memories of a happy childhood, idealized by the memory, long before adolescence came back to radically question this idyllic vision.
